Director of Slot Operations
Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Slot Operations to oversee slot operations within a large-scale, fast-paced gaming and entertainment environment.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced slot operations professional who can take ownership of floor strategy, product selection, vendor relationships, operational performance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day slot floor operations and overall departmental performance
- Develop and optimize floor layouts, machine placement, and product mix
- Analyze slot performance data and identify opportunities to improve utilization and revenue
- Evaluate games and equipment and make recommendations regarding additions, replacements, and upgrades
- Manage relationships with slot manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers
- Oversee procurement, installation, movement, and lifecycle management of slot equipment
- Lead, mentor, and develop slot operations and technical teams
- Partner with technical leadership to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures
- Maintain compliance with applicable gaming regulations and internal policies
- Support a strong player experience through effective floor and operational strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Slot Operations, or 3+ years as a Director of Slot Operations
- Strong background in slot game selection, floor optimization, and vendor negotiations
- Experience managing large-scale slot operations
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to use performance data to guide operational decisions
- Understanding of slot equipment acquisition, logistics, and lifecycle management
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 gaming environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, or similar operational tools is an asset
